SSI Open Water Diver is an internationally recognised entry-level certification using SSI's digital learning system. It qualifies you to dive to 18 metres with a buddy and to continue to Advanced Adventurer and SSI specialties.
Training uses the calm, shallow reefs around Mansuar Island for confined and early dives, with later training dives on nearby coral sites. Warm 27-30°C water and the October-to-April season make conditions comfortable for learning.
