The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course in Hurghada teaches you to spot trouble before it escalates and to handle real emergencies on the surface and underwater. Using the calm shore reefs and day-boat sites of the Egyptian Red Sea, you rehearse stress recognition, diver tows and unresponsive-diver recovery in warm, forgiving conditions. You come out a calmer, more capable diver, with a required step on the SSI professional pathway behind you.
This is the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification, SSI's equivalent of Rescue Diver. It pairs with React Right (CPR/first aid/oxygen) and is a prerequisite for the SSI Divemaster professional rating.
Scenarios are staged on the sheltered shore reefs and gentle day-boat sites around Hurghada, where warm water (22-29C) and stable conditions let you concentrate on the rescue skills themselves. The shallow lagoons make a safe, controlled setting for emergency practice.
