SSI Stress & Rescue teaches Red Sea divers to prevent problems before they happen and respond decisively when they do. Set on Sharm El Sheikh's calm reefs, the course concentrates on self-rescue and managing real situations, building the confidence to handle a range of incidents. Warm water and reliable conditions make the Red Sea a good classroom for emergency training.
SSI pairs free digital materials with a performance-based structure that lets you repeat rescue skills until you are confident, and recommends its React Right first-aid programme as the CPR prerequisite, recorded on your SSI digital card.
Training uses sheltered Sharm reefs with calm water and easy entries, plus varied conditions of reef, current and shore access that replicate genuine emergencies. Visibility of 20-30m and 24-28C water keep practice safe and repeatable.
