The SSI Scuba Diver certification is a streamlined subset of Open Water training, ideal if time is limited but you want a genuine qualification to dive in Baa Atoll, Maldives. Through SSI's digital learning, confined sessions and two open-water dives near Dharavandhoo, you certify to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of an SSI professional.
SSI Scuba Diver is a recognised certification covering the core of the Open Water Diver course, qualifying you to dive to 12 metres under SSI professional supervision. It is delivered digitally through MySSI and upgrades directly to full Open Water Diver.
Training uses the calm, shallow house reefs around Dharavandhoo in Baa Atoll, where warm 27-30°C water and clear visibility offer an easy, enjoyable setting for this entry-level certification.
