The Mares Dual ADJ 62X is built around the 62X first stage, one of the most compact first stages Mares makes. It is shorter and lighter than the 52X it replaces and holds less internal volume, so divers who fly to their dive sites can keep luggage weight down.
The 62X is a balanced diaphragm first stage, so breathing stays consistent whatever the tank pressure or depth, and the sealed diaphragm keeps water, salt and grit out of the internals. Mares' Auto Sealing Technology (AST) closes the first stage when it is not pressurised, which protects it during rinsing and storage.
It pairs with the Dual ADJ second stage, a pneumatically balanced design with two diver-adjustable controls: a venturi (dive/pre-dive) lever to manage free-flow at the surface, and a breathing-effort knob to set inhalation resistance to conditions. The combination gives Indian divers a travel-friendly scuba regulator that works in cold water and current.
